Joanne G – Chelsea boarded Bob, my 31-year old African Grey Parrot, for 2 weeks while I was out of town. We visited her boarding space prior to dropping him off, so that he could meet Chelsea and check out his new space and companions – a couple of snakes and an iguana! Chelsea was great handling Bob and he settled in quickly. I appreciated Chelsea checking in with me on a regular basis with updates on Bob – mainly that he was comfortable, eating well and very interactive. I could tell from our first visit that she was very experienced at handling and caring for birds, which was very reassuring. Bob requires a lot of time and attention in terms of providing food/snacks, cleaning up his cage/play area, and keeping him busy with toys, watching TV/videos or just hanging out with him. Bob was a happy bird during his stay and I really appreciated Chelsea’s professionalism and attention to detail. I highly recommend Chelsea’s services and hope Bob can have another staycation with her in the future!

Cassandra A – I can not accurately put into words how impressed I was with the care Chelsea gave our reptiles while we were gone. She came highly recommend and after our trip we now know why! She came out for a meet and great, took excellent care of our beardie and our tortoise, brought them the food so we didn’t have to prepare ahead of time and came back once we returned with some helpful info to step up our parenting game for both of them. Our beardie was getting over a rough wake up from brumation and she experimented with new foods and gave us a report of the new things he showed interest in and sent us pictures almost daily. She went above and beyond in every single way. I highly suggest everyone use her service …. but then again I want to keep her all to myself! Anyone who decides to use the services will not be disappointed!

Ssslithery Snakes! Yasmine R – Chelsea was able to take my bearded dragon on short notice and was able to provide me with updates on his well-being when I was on vacation. Being able to get updates really took all my worries away. The whole process was easy from drop off to pick up, loved how she had a list of vet recommendations just in case there was an emergency, my little guy recently lost a toe and has some tummy problems, it felt great knowing she used our vet.
Berry J – If you are traveling through Tucson, living in Tucson, or renting in Tucson and need a place to board your parrot or bird, you won’t find many options but we found Scaled Sitting to be a great one. Our parrot “vacationed” with Chelsea for 8 nights. When we picked him up, he was happy and healthy. Chelsea was flexible with our last-minute request and immediately established a positive rapport with our bird on arrival. She shared photos to show us how he was doing during his stay. We were extremely happy with the service she provided.

It’s such a huge relief to know that if I ever need someone to care for my exotics I don’t have to stress over trying to find a friend to give a laundry list of complex instructions to and hope they’re not squeamish about dead mice. Taking care of parrots is not easy, they are high maintenance and they are SUPER messy! I need not have worried! I received check-in’s daily from Chelsea and pictures of my birds! She cared for them as though they were her own. All instructions were carried out to a “T” and my house was cleaner than I had left it. The option to leave my pets in their home was healthier, safer and I was worry free! Thank you Chelsea for the love you gave to Aurora, Stormy & Ivy! We will look forward to seeing you next time!
Bryan K, PPR – If you have an exotic animal, reptile or bird, Chelsea is who you want to take care of them for you when you need a reliable and knowledgeable caretaker. She does grooming, enclosure cleaning, and she has a great background in animal care.
Roger W – Chelsea is great! She cared for our desert tortoise while we traveled on vacation, really put our mind at ease with her there every other day to check on him. We got regular updates and communication was reliable.

Michelle M – This place was a god send. We have had snakes for a while and when we go away we just have someone come over and check on him, we feed before and after the trip. With our new addition to the family I had no idea what to do.
They took in our beardie for 10 days and treated her fantastic!! Making sure to find out the foods she likes, they had new things for her to try and sent us pictures every couple of days to let us know how she was doing.
In addition their prices are reasonable and if you choose their enclosures, they are waiting so all you have to take is your pet. This is my daughter’s pet and this was the best first experience for all of us, we would use them again for sure!
